This article explains how to set up the Bugpilot App for Github.
What this app does
The Bugpilot app makes it easy to collect detailed technical information from your end users right when they encounter a problem. With the GitHub integration, you will be able to:
- Receive Bugpilot reports automatically as issues in your GitHub repository.
- Receive Bugpilot reports automatically in draft issues in your GitHub project board.
How to set up the app

Prerequisites
You have to complete the Bugpilot setup before connecting to Github. Follow the instructions on the Get Started page.

Connect Bugpilot to Github
To start receiving Bugpilot reports in your GitHub repository follow these steps:
- Go to Bugpilot Dashboard
- Find GitHub and click Connect.
- You will need to authorize Bugpilot to be able to create issues in your projects and repositories in GitHub. Click on Authorize like in the image below.
- After you are redirected back to Bugpilot, you can choose where and how you want to receive your Bugpilot reports in GitHub. Bugpilot reports can become a new issue in your repository or a draft issue in your project.
- Click on Save.


How to use the app
Every time a Bugpilot report gets submitted, you see it as an issue in GitHub.
